I work for the MC Mobility Systems, Inc. (http://www.mcmobilitysystems.com) and Van Rental capacity (http://www.abilityvanrentals.com) and recommending that customers concerned about fuel economy, go with a Honda or Toyota. Unfortunately, the extra weight of a lift or a conversion kit that affect fuel economy, but these two brands are probably the best solution.
Hope this helps!
